Many of you have come to know and love our Summer Concert Series. We're pleased to announce we are back in full swing! We strive to make each event memorable, fun and safe. We secure the best talent available including your favorite classic rock musicians, local performers, talented artisans and magical fireworks displays.

While were are all being good about our Shelter in Place orders, fearful, bored confused and wondering when it will all end ... A Mission Viejo couple is literally offering a SIGN of HOPE. Bob and Holly needed to feel productive and focus on something upbeat to balance this spring's gloom versus its usual bloom. As well, they wanted to as give back. This is their #SIPPROJECT. #projectHOPE. Both of them are artists/craftsmen and have a budding art/art workshop business. Bob has a successful handyman/electrical business, and Holly was furloughed from her job with a national Solar company and now with virtually no income they are getting creative while giving back... Saying "As creatives it's our tiny handmade way of saying 'hang in there!' There IS HOPE " Though at a brightly lit 2x4', the azure message of HOPE is far from tiny; it can be seen from miles away, and has attracted and helped woeful neighbors. Holly painted the glowing globe and Bob cleverly combined it with an old box and lighting remnants they already had. Within a few days they lit it up and mounted the sign in their hillside backyard.
Holly is also a jewelry crafter and graphic designer, and so spawned her HOPE pendants and healing crystal-embedded necklaces for sale, appropriately and affordably priced at $20.20! They encourage folks to gift one for first responders, grocery workers, medical professionals or families struggling with the COVID19 challenges.

CREATIVE WRITING
Despite all the turmoil of the past year, despite all the pain endured with loss and the abuse… there are many absent that I long for still, including his touch. I may be faring better, emotionally, financially, but as I view my once lush garden., I see 2020 has taken a toll on it as well. Sad that the rains have been elusive, hiding like the rest of humanity in this torturous year... and so obvious in the stark absence of blooms on my lovely Crepe Myrtle. I was so looking forward to the burst of flirty mauve that dominated the once lush green in years past.
The little peach tree stands in the corner of the progressively browning lawn. rising up from a patchy grass, no blooms, no fruit. The only joy it bestows is the lone morning glory that has aggressively wound its way through the thirsty, bare branches. Perhaps it was providing a touch of love both flora and fauna were so desperate to feel.
It rained, we cried, we broke, we died. We wept incessantly for lives lost and lives devoid of human touch, riddled with fear and controversy… revealing the absence of basic humanity in many, yet still bursting like spring were the most human of traits …love and compassion.
God must've known my need for hope represented in the precious blossoms that yielded a rare joy in the torment of 2020. He must know that I am now strong enough to seek fulfillment beyond my barren backyard and that my thirst must be quenched by drinking from the faraway streams, planting and sowing new seeds. I must venture bravely, because I will only taste the fruits of my own life, if I climb out on the limb.

So many years were revealed in the worn denim cover... the rich, musty smell of the yellowed pages yielded private thoughts, whimsy and the love she's put into her poetry and prose.
I turned each of the delicate pages, some carefully typed, some littered with graphite grays in every shade and every level of fade... relishing all within, from the sweet curves of her cursive to the determined lines stricken through rhymes gone astray and phrases for another day.
When I offered to be the small binder's keeper, I expected it to be a tender and talent-filled treasure, but in lifting every worn corner I was delighted and surprised at my mother's prolific knack for finding humor and beauty in the most of ordinary things and daily routines.
Her smirk and quirk took turns with the pain and strain of heartfelt words on page after page. Deep in the decades' old binder...I stumbled on the scribbled words "For Holly" followed by a short poem I never knew existed.
On the once-white paper, a young mother's attempt to spill pure love into words for her tiny daughter... Yet even a talented writer cannot portray the depth of THAT love...as both a daughter and a mother, I understand... yet she reminds me how deeply her love runs every time I visit her bedside.
The glimmer of the golden years is waning, showing her own cover's wear.
And with the pain ...cherished memories of a life well-lived, laughter and lessons aptly given and loving relationships fulfilled.
Thank you for documenting these tender thoughts, with touch of hand and heart.
